Conceived during a trip to the places of the famous French writer where Alessandro Mendini had felt the closeness between the writer and the Parisian pointillists, the “Proust” decoration was born from the reinterpretation of a detail of a painting by Paul Signac. The iconic decoration now meets Christmas, to underline how its innate expressive strength manages to transfigure any support it covers into an artistic object. To make every decoration a small work of art.
