“Prospettica” is considered one of Gio Ponti’s most modern and innovative inventions. Conceived in 1925, it takes inspiration from classicism and the rules of perspective, creating an illusion in which each designed cell in turn contains other small vases, to create a prominent, profound and original optical effect. The experience of the Manufacture’s master craftsmen and technicians has allowed the motif to be translated into a linear vision, studying the adhesion in a complex shape. To decorate it by hand, the double cutting technique is used in order to maintain the same thickness as the framing of the cells. Arte di Gio Ponti pays homage to the well-known architect in an eclectic collection that recalls the story of Ginori 1735 through the artistic technique that made it known throughout the world.
