Alessi Compressioni Centerpiece

Il Tornitore Matto by Alessi collects some objects created between mid-2022 and the first months of 2023. Since it is an ongoing project, it should be considered the start of a new story rather than a point of arrival. In fact, it represents the first chapter of an exploration that Alberto Alessi decided to undertake for the pleasure of investigating new territories where designers and entrepreneurs are free to independently establish the rules of the creative process; if it has an objective, it is to put at the center the experimental formulation of the industrial model that has marked Alessi and its nebula of design explorations to which it has dedicated itself over the years. This first chapter was born from the dialogue with Giulio Iacchetti (in the role of co-responsible for the metaproject) and with all the designers who participated in the project: Pierre Charpin, Federico Angi, Michael Anastassiades, Nika Zupanc, Naoto Fukasawa, Paolo Ulian, Michele De Lucchi and Andrea Branzi.
